OUR BOY!

Our boy is very active....just at the sonogram, he was yawning, sucking his thumb, kicking his legs and feet, lifting and throwing around his arms, and this picture shows him when he flipped himself over! How cute is he?!

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday, July 25th Jeff and I went to our appointment and waited about an hour to get a sonogram telling us the sex of the baby. The intense wait time was getting the best of us...but eventually it was time and we were happy to see a HEALTHY and ACTIVE baby BOY!!!!!! Here are some pictures to see....

A few days ago, I met up with some college friends of mine. We had lunch, caught up on eachothers' lives, and went shopping. It was a nice day! :)

Bunch of Freaks!

You are probably wondering why you received an email from us inviting you to view our blog...when I first starting "blogging" I received a weird comment from a stranger...yesterday I received another comment from a different stranger from another country...our page is now PRIVATE...I don't need these freaks watching my page and knowing all about us. Welcome to Orleans Homes!

Yesterday when I got home from a day of shopping with my mom...there was this lovely basket at my front door. It was sent from Jessica (from Orleans Homes) welcoming us to the neighborhood (even though we haven't actually moved in yet!) She knows that I'm a school teacher, and ordered us school houses....how cute and they look yummy..we haven't tried them yet. My mom says that they are good (she lives in an Orleans home too-actually in the same neighborhood!)

It was so nice to spend some time with my grandparents...I haven't seen then since my wedding and before that I can't remember how long it's been. My grandpa is going to be 86 and my grandma is 85...they still have their witty sense of humor and we laughed a lot together! :)

Life in Helena, Alabama

This is my Aunt Monica's home. How Sweet! Every house in Helena has a swing under shady trees. How peaceful...

What a beautiful, serene, and quaint place to live~Helena, Alabama. We enjoyed eachothers' company, read books out the front porch, and took peaceful walks, all while being surrounded by nature all around us. If you want to get away from the craziness of Orlando, or wherever else you may live, come to Helena!

Being Prego on an Airplane!

This past weekend, me, my mom, and my sister took a girls' trip to Helena, Alabama to visit my grandparents and my wonderful aunt and cousins! I was nervous to get on the plane (you all know how I am :) ) but my doctor said that it was completely safe...so we were off! At the airport I got a pregancy pass where I could board first with the children and families (that was interesting) and I saved 2 seats for my mom and my sister (Southwest) I felt really dizzy and crampy after landing to and from but then I was fine.
Jeff and I are planning on going to a wedding at the end of August in Michigan...another flying adventure for me! :)

ALL IN 1 YEAR!

This year has been wonderful! Just think, Jeff and I got married Nov. 3rd, 2007 (it hasn't even been a full year yet) Here are the things that we have experienced in this time...

ACCEPTED OFFER! :)

Jeff and I have been REALLY busy and stressed for a few days now. The offer that we made was somewhat accepted, the builder came back with a higher number and we accepted that! We signed the contract that next day and yesterday the lender came to our home. We are now waiting to make sure we were approved to buy this beautiful home. The lender is supposed to come over tonight with some paperwork. We are so excited!!!!!

The NEW update....

Today was a BIG day for us!
We OFFICIALLY signed our town home over to the renters.
They are moving in August 7th! I can't believe one more month in the town home.
I've lived there three years and there were many memories made in that home.
But now it's time to move forward and start new memories together in a new home.
We are putting an offer on a NEW home tomorrow. We'll keep you all updated!
