We have a BEAUTIFUL home!

We moved in on Monday night...and have been settling in ever since. It has been hard on me because I also began pre-planning on Monday so I have been working ALL week preparing my classroom, having Meet the Teacher, going to the Convention center, and of course ALL the meetings we must attend! We are blessed though, because my family was there EVERYDAY helping us out tremendously...Jeff took a few days off of work and was at the house organizing things and putting things together...some of the REALLY important things that are missing and still haven't been found...my camera cord, my pen drive (has ALL my school plans on it), and my IPOD!!!!! I was going to post pics of my classroom and our new home for you all to see but that can't happen until I find the cord...and who knows when that will be!

~Homeless...not for long!~

We have been staying with Jeffrey's brothers for a few days now. Thank goodness we have a place to stay...we packed about 2 weeks worth of clothes and items"just in case"...we still didn't have a closing date when we had to move out of our home.
The renters officially moved in on Thursday...I was excited but sad all at the same time. I loved living in that townhome...and we had a lot of memories there! The townhome looked great, we cleaned it, and had the tile and carpets professionally cleaned as well! The renters were really pleased :)
Jeff and I are closing on the house on Monday! We are both SUPER excited...we have had the 30 foot UHAUL parked in our new driveway for about 4-5 days now. LOVELY!!!! We are eager to get in, get unpacked, and RETURN the UHAUL!!! hahahahah :) Monday is going to be a busy day for me and the baby...I officially begin work, close on my house, and begin moving in....I have pre-planning all week for teaching and then on the 18th the children arrive! That means I have 1 weekend to get all settled before beginning a new school year. We are excited and will post pictures probably next week! :)

Dedicated to all the moms and moms-2-be...especially MY MOM!

Newborn’s Conversation with God

A baby asked God, “They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?”
God said, “Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.”
The child further inquired, “But tell me, here in heaven I don’t have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.”
God said, “Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel’s love and be very happy.”
Again the child asked, “And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don’t know the language?”
God said, “Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.”
“And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?”
God said, “Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.”
“Who will protect me?”
God said, “Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.”
“But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.”
God said, “Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.”
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, “God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel’s name.”
God said, “You will simply call her, Mom.”

And the Moving Begins......

Well, where do I begin?! We need to be out of our townhome on Wednesday (that's in a few days!). We have a carpet cleaner coming Wed. afternoon and the renters are moving in on Thursday....we are passing down the keys and our home (mine for 3 yrs.) ours for about 1 yr. Last night, Jeff took apart our dining room table....and my parents came over to help out and Jeff and my dad took apart the 2 bed sets. My parents took all the pictures and frames that cannot be in the heat to their house until we move into our home...that helped out a lot...there's not sooo many things laying around now. ....This is the tricky part- we don't know when the closing of our house is going to be yet....therefore, we are packing all of our possessions into the BIGGEST UHAUL they rent and we just have to wait...we are going to probably stay with Jeff's brother- Joey since we will be homeless for a short while until we hear further news. I begin working next Monday so I'm hoping that we will have a house by then so we can begin getting settled in. It's just been so crazy and moving is so stressful...I'm trying not to worry and Jeff is doing a great job organizing everything and doing all the business side to things. He's just the BEST! I'm just pregnant and overwhelmed! :) And I'm pretty sure Baby Jeffrey is excited too- he kicks mommy ALL day long. Say a prayer for us that everything will work out smoothly. I'll keep you all posted! All our love...Nicole & Jeff

Getting Ready!

These past few days, I've been out with my momma! We've been shopping for my new house and registering for my baby! We went to Babies R' Us 4 TIMES!!!! Each time we went, we were there for at least 3 hours and of course we went to different BRU locations! There are so many things to consider when choosing things for your baby- safety, quality, reliability, and so much more...I'm excited though because I finally found everything that I absolutely LOVE! and cannot wait to begin setting up the nursery. :) You can view my registry...located on the top left of the blog- labeled Our Baby Registry & click Babies R Us!
