Today (Monday 10/27) I had to leave work early to get to my 3pm appointment on time. I'm measuring 33 cm and I am happy to say that I only gained 1 pound. :) I've been walking after work (of course on days when Jeff and I aren't running to Lamaze and other baby preparation classes) The weather has been so enjoyable and I look forward to getting some fresh air while walking with my mommy! I have another appointment in 2 weeks and then I will be going every week. My doctor is very happy with baby Lucas' progress and growth. He also loved that he is active and everywhere inside my body!!!! Dr. told me that I will be getting another ultrasound at 36 weeks to make sure everything is going well...determine how big the baby is... and ultimately when he will be coming. I can't believe how fast this is flying by. This week my girlfriends at work are throwing me a baby shower that I'm really looking forward to. :) I'll post all the baby goodies this week!

My growing baby...:)

Lucas loves the right side of my belly...that's where he's been this entire pregnancy. Now that he's getting bigger, I can finally feel him on my left side too. I swear after I took this picture I can see the shape of his body on the right side. Can you see where it's sticking out?! Sometimes, he gets real high in my ribs and I have to rub him on out. :)

32 Weeks

I can't believe it's been 32 weeks already. I was thinking, "Gosh, can my belly grow ANYMORE?!" And the answer to that is YES...I am growing day by day...I feel baby Lucas Jeffrey ALL day long (which is such a wonderful feeling) Just when you think you're alone, the baby kicks and moves around and reminds me that he is always with me. :) I absolutely love it, but I am eager to meet my new little man! I took some pics of just my belly since it's hard to take pictures of myself. I will have more pics to post after our Halloween Housewarming party next weekend and a few showers that friends and family are throwing for me! I'll keep you all posted on the growth of Lucas. This picture is the view I have when I look down...I can't see my legs or feet and everything in between! :) Hehehe...

Our Busy Schedule

Jeff and I went to the first class of our 4 week Lamaze program last night. After working all day, we went downtown from 7-9:15PM!!!! (she let us out early) We learned all about the anatomy of childbirth! Fun Fun.....
Seeing all the other couples and how they were interacting with eachother and hearing their views and fears on different child birth issues was interesting. I was pretty happy and confident when we left. I was so calm compared the other pregos....which made me feel SO much better about the entire CB process. We were all supposed to share the worst things about pregnancy...all the other girls were sick for 4 months 2-4 times a day and had all these negative things to say. When it came to my turn, I began with "I never got sick, just felt sick....I really can't complain" You know all the women were hating me by now...o well! It's the truth. Pregnancy has been the best thing that has happened to my body...well besides the painful stretching of my belly and not being able to control my body, ITS BEEN WONDERFUL! :)
We are truly looking forward to meeting our little angel. On Friday, October 10th I will be 30 weeks. In just a few months we will be parents! (which is so crazy to say- but true!)
Tomorrow we are attending a Breastfeeding class...Jeff I'm sure will be excited to participate in this class! :)

I'll be 29 weeks on Friday!!!

Weeks 29-32 (Month 7): Squash
Baby’s energy is surging, thanks to the formation of white fat deposits beneath the skin. Baby is also settling into sleep and waking cycles, though they don’t necessarily coincide with MINE! Also this month, all five senses are finally functional, and the brain and nervous system are going through major developments.

Baby Jeffrey continues to grow bigger everyday! Pretty soon mommy is going to fall forward! :)

NYC- MOMA Museum

While in New York my family decided to take a trip to the city. We saw The Little Mermaid on Broadway and went to the MOMA museum. Here's a picture of me with a sculpture of a mommy, daddy, and baby. I'm wearing the birthday top that Alyse sent to me!!! So pretty...thanks moo I love it :)

NYC TRIP!

Last weekend I flew to New York to visit my family. My cousin, Stacey just delivered her second boy, Christian Nicholas and was getting him baptized. It was such a good time and I enjoyed every moment with Christian (I hogged him the whole time I was there..I didn't share him! :) ) I cannot wait to hold my baby Jeffrey. Here's a picture of me and Christian and I am soothing him to sleep after eating. O yeah, I entire time I held Christian my baby was kicking like crazy! He had to share his mommy!

Weeks 25-28 (month 6): Eggplant

Let your spouse put an ear to your belly -- he might be able to pick up baby's heartbeat (no stethoscope required). Inside the womb, the formation of tiny capillaries is giving baby a healthy pink glow. Baby's also soaking up your antibodies, getting the immune system ready for life outside the womb. Eyes are forming, and baby will soon perfect the blink -- perfect for batting those freshly grown lashes.
